온타리오 소극장 페스티벌에서 연주하는 아티스트들 론 섹스미스, 톰 코크란, 샹탈 크레비아주크 등
이 ‘소규모 축제’에는 구엘프, 피터버러, 케스윅, 런던, 고더리히 등 온타리오 전역의 작은 공연장에서 많은 캐나다 아티스트들이 공연을 펼칩니다.
온타리오 소극장 페스티벌은 2024년에 그 범위를 넓혀가고 있습니다.
온타리오 남부의 이 페스티벌은 런던은 물론 온타리오 남서부의 고더리치, 오타와 지역과 그 너머의 동쪽까지 멀리 떨어진 공연장에서 공연을 선보일 예정입니다.
이 축제는 10월, 11월, 12월에 열립니다.
온타리오 페스티벌 오브 스몰 홀스의 임원 겸 예술 감독인 마크 모나한은 보도자료를 통해 “이 페스티벌은 다양한 공연이 펼쳐지는 멋진 공연장들이 있는 절충주의적인 축제입니다.”라고 말했습니다. “소극장 콘서트는 독특한 커뮤니티 환경에서 좋아하는 공연을 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 음악과 아티스트와 소통할 수 있는 좋은 방법입니다.”
첫 번째 페스티벌은 2014년 오타와 인근 소도시와 마을의 역사적으로 중요한 공연장에서 캐나다의 저명한 아티스트들과 함께 열렸으며, 수년에 걸쳐 성장해 왔습니다.
2024년 페스티벌에는 캐나다 음악 산업의 아이콘들이 출연할 예정입니다.
